How EDI Works
A Continuous, Chemical-Free Water Purification Process

EDl technology is a new pure water and ultra-pure waterpreparation technology. The technology combines electrodialy-sis technology with ion exchange technology, and the ion orien-tation is realized under the action of DC electric held throughthe selective transference of Yin and cation exchange mem-branes to yin and cation and the ion exchange resin. igration,In order to complete the depth of water desalination, the waterquality can reach 15M.cm or more. While removing salt, hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions produced by hydroelectricitydissociation regenerate ion exchange resins, so ultra-purewater can be continuously prepared without acid-base chemi-cal regeneration. lt has advanced technology, simple operationand excellent environmental protection characteristics. it is agreen revolution in pure water preparation technology.
Both ends of EDl are provided with positive electrode plates and negative electrode plates. After electrifcation, electricfelds are generated. The electric feld causes the water molecules entering the water to dissociate into H* and OH- atthe interface of the ion exchange resin, and continuously regenerates the cathode and cation in the freshwater chamberExchange resin. The cathode and cation in the ion exchange resin are attracted by the corresponding positive and nega.tive electrodes during the regeneration process, and migrate through the Yang and anion exchange resins to the corre-sponding lonic membranes. When these ions enter the dense chamber through the exchange membrane, H* and OHrecombine into water. The generation, binding, and cation migration of this H* and OH are the mechanisms by which ionexchange resins can achieve continuous regeneration.
